Utah Strikes Back 1.14.12

For the first time, I agreed to let Mike take Logan to Utah for a skiing vacation...ummmm, so you can imagine my dismay when after five days, I get a phone call that tells me that Logan fractured his leg!  WHAT!?!?!?  It happened on Thursday around 4:00pm.  They were doing one last run and Logan was getting tired and failed to stop himself.  Apparently he took quite the tumble and began to complain about his leg at once.  Mike thought he was fine, but decided to get it checked out anyway.  After the x-rays, it was determined that he had a vertical hairline fracture of his tibia.  Luckily, they were able to come home early.  So about 2:00pm Mike brought Logan home and this is what his leg looked like.  Luckily, he wasn't in any pain and seems to be adapting quite well to the whole thing.  He can't put any weight on it until he gets a hard cast, so for about a week I'll be carrying him wherever he needs to go.  This is where the picky eater thing pays off...can't imagine what it would be like to lug around a boy that weighs more than 40lbs.  We have a doctor's appointment coming up to tell us where to go from here.  Stay tuned.
