Mariner Fan Fest 1.25.09

Our arrival greeting.
Running the bases (with the pink ball that was Logan's prize possession)

In the locker room

And the weight room

Waiting for our turn to go play catch!!

So on this beautifully freezing day, Logan and I went with a bunch of our friends to Mariner Fan Fest. It was fantastic! Besides freezing our little bums off, we were given access to areas usually closed off (the locker rooms, the weight room, the interview area), we got free stuff up the yahoo (backpacks, lunch boxes, hats, t-shirts), got to run the bases, and play catch out on the field. Logan found a pink baseball that I couldn't pry out of his hands and I picked up a great new sweatshirt. Then we ended the afternoon with lunch at the brewery across the street. Life is good!

Congratulations Brandi and Kelly 1.21.09

Logan wasn't really interested in dinner, but bring on the cake!

The beautiful bride...

Reise and Logan always have fun together...this night was no exception.

Brandi and Katie...so sweet. I realized I didn't get a picture of the groom, but trust me, he was there and beaming from ear to ear!!

My dear sweet cousin Brandi got married to her sweetheart Kelly on Wednesday evening. The wedding was a small, private ceremony followed by a bigger reception. They both looked so happy and I'm thrilled for them to begin their life together. It was so nice to be included and help them to celebrate this wonderful day. Many blessings to you guys. We love you both. Life is very good!

Not Feeling so Hot 1.18.09

Logan was been pretty darn healthy recently, so I guess it was only a matter of time before he caught some sort of bug. Anyway, as you can see we played this day really low key, Logan even stayed in jammies all day...lucky! And that night he got to sleep in his new big boy bed...Lightning McQueen. Life is good (even when you're sick)!

Children's Museum 1.9.09

There were so many things to do and see...including a really cool fish tank,
a boat,

a big rig,

and a crane to manipulate. Good stuff!

Logan and I got a lovely invitation today from Karen and Craig to join them at the Burlington Children's Museum. I was so excited to go because I knew Logan would have a blast and it had been awhile for he and Craig to have some play time together. They had a teriffic time playing together and apart (those three year olds don't stay in one place too long!). Thanks for a great time friends. Life is good.

Making Cookies 1.2.09

We are ready to make some cookies!!!
Droppin' in the dough...

... rollin' it out...

...TA DA!!!

One of my Christmas ideas was to make Christmas sugar cookies with Logan...well, one thing led to another and it's now January and we haven't made the cookies. So, I figured what the heck...it's fun to make cookies any time. Logan (having practiced with me, Dad, Grandma, and Nana) is an expert cookie maker at this point. He likes to scoop and measure and is definitely a great taste tester!!! Life is good!
