After waiting for what felt like FOREVER, Logan finally had his turn on "Paint".For Mother's Day this year, I decided to take my mom to the races. There is a race track about an hour and a half away from our place and Mom and I have talked about going for years. It was suppose to be a nice day and we thought, "What the heck, let's do it!" So, Logan, Mom, and I loaded up and hit the road. The drive down was flawless and the races were amazing!!! Mom and I bet on 4 races. Me=0 for 4. Mom=3 for 4. Logan (he picked the pink one every time)=3 for 4. Seriously, I need to just follow their lead. :-) Not only did Logan love watching the horses race, but then there were water trucks, tractors, airplanes overhead, a train track right next to the race track, and those weren't even the designated "kid" activities! After we got our fill of races and lunch, we headed over the the family section where Logan got to go down a big slide, bounce in a horse bouncy house, and best of all, ride a pony! We ended up staying for about 4 hours, exhausting, but what a fantastic time! I definitely want to go back and Logan hasn't stopped talking about it. It was such a fabulous way to spend my Mother's Day. Life is good!
